OAMARU CONTEST
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) OAMARU, November 5.
The official announcement today of Mr. H. Gladstone Hill, organiser of the Democrat Party at Christchurch, as Democrat candidate for the Oamaru electorate makes a triangular contest for this electorate at the General Elections. The other candidates are Messrs. G. A. Macpherson (sitting member, Nationalist) and the Rev. A. H. Nordmeyr (Labour candidate).
