Values of New Zealand's exports and imports of timber during September were:—
Impoits.—From Australia, £27,191 (includ..ng hardwood logs and poles £2684, rough-sawn or hewn hardwoods £12.394 sleepers £11,674); Canada, £3570 including douglas fir, small sizes, £2214); Japan, £3421 (including oak £5,150): United States, £2158 (including redwood £1752); Sweden, Butter boxss, £850; India, £202; United Kingdom, £33.
Exports.—To Australia, £38,583 (including rimu £7799, white pine £26,042 ; Pacific Islands, £524; United Kingdom, £105.
