SUBURBS CLUB
The Suburbs Rifle Club had a double shoot at 300 yards at Trentham on Saturday afternoon when a light breeze prevailed. , The competition counted for the championship No. 1 series and the Newton Cup. The mathematical handicap system was used for No. 1 series, and scores off the rifle counted for the championship. The first five competitors secured respective points in the Newton Cup competition. Laurie was top scorer, and at one range he placed nine "Salvation Army" bulls and an inner. H. Smith also shoe well. The following are the scores, with handicaps:— 300 300 yds. yds. Hep. Tl. Ron.
