LONDON, November 3.

The profit of the English, Scottish, and Australian Bank is £243,579. Interim dividends will absorb £75,000, and the reserve fund £15,000. The amount brought in was £275,747. It is proposed to make a further appropriation to the officers' contingencies fund of £500, and pay a further 2J per cent, interim dividend, free of tax; also to place £75,000 to contingencies, and to the reserves £50,000, carrying forward £299,326.
