THE DEMOCRATS' VOTE
(To the Editor.)
I Sir. —In a paragraph in last Friday's "Evening Post" referring to my address at Scorching Bay, mention is made to my reply to a question as to whether I would vote to put Labour in office or whether I would vote with the Government, and your report states I said that "Mr. Hislop would dodge voting for . the Labour Parly and he would dodge voting for the other side." As a matter of fact, which can be vouched for by others. I said that I would follow my leader and that Mr. ■Hislop "is not voting for the Labour Party and not voting for me other side. He will vote to put the Democrat Party in power. That is our way out." Your report is otherwise com- . pletely accurate, and I thank you cordially for the fairness I have always received at your hands.—»l am, etc., W. DUNCAN.
