LONDON, October 29.
The Johannesburg correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" says that the Union Government is embarking on a five-years* Air Force expansion plan, aiming to make South Africa equal in the air to any second-rate Power.
The programme visualises 250 new machines, 3000 air mechanics, and 1000 pilots, including a permanent force and reserves.
