OBITUARY
MRS. F. G. CRAY
Mrs. F..G. Cray, who died yesterday, was an old resident of New Zealand. Born fn Ballarat, Victoria, in 1861, she came to New Zealand with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stevenson, : in 1880, returning to Australia two years later. In 1883 she married Mr. F..G. Cray, of Melbourne, and: with him went to Fiji, where he was then stationed as financial agent on a large sugar plantation. Mr. and Mrs. Cray came to New Zealand in 1885 and resided in Dunedin until their removal to Wellington in 1907. Mrs. Cray is survived by a family of three sons and two da>-;hters, viz., Mrs. C. M. Bowden, Mastertbn, Mrs. T. G. Young, Dunedin, and Messrs. Fred Cray,. Napier, T. S. Cray, Hamilton, and V. F. Cray, of Mititai, Dargaville, ■ arid 17 grandchildren. Mrs. J. F. Densem, of Diinsandel, is a sister, and ;Messrs. Isaac Stevenson, of Port Chalmers, and John Stevenson, of Wellington, are brothers. Her husband died last year. The interment will be at Napier, a short service having been held at ' Knox Church, Masterton, this morning at 8 o'clock. '
