j It is anticipated that the writs for the holding of the General Election on Wednesday, November 27, will be issued early next week, and that the | date for the closing of nominations will be fixed for eight or nine days later, or the middle of the week following the issue of the writs. i Eectors whose names do not appear on the main rolls and who have not, yet placed themselves on the supplementary rolls are advised to do so at the earliest opportunity, as the supplementary rolls will close at 6 p.m. on the day on which the writs are issued. A Proclamation formally proroguing Parliament until November 28 has been issued. • The present Parliament will be dissolved on the day on which I the writs are issued.
