Against the Australian Eleven team, which is going to South Africa, and which made 425 runs, West Australia, after making 114 in their first innings, in their second innings made 62. Alexander made top score with 14. Fleetwood-Smith took seven •wickets for 20, and O'Reilly two for 18.
Australia won by an innings and 243 runs.
