AGAINST RE-ARMAMENT
INDEPENDENT LABOUR
ELECTION MANIFESTO
(Received October 29, 11.15 a.m.)
LONDON, October 28.
A manifesto issued by the Independent Labour Party declares relentless opposition to re-armament, on the ground of sacrifice of hopes for social improvement, and asks voters to realise that Socialism provides the only solution of national problems and to reject futile schemes to patch up Capitalism, whether emanating from the National Government or the Labour Party.
