The New Zealand Rugby football team; defeated Llanelly by 16 points to 8, after leading 5-0 at half-time. Llanelly had been training for weeks, and playing all their matches in two spells of forty minutes. They were hoping to repeat the Swansea victory. The ground was heavy after rain in the morning. ' The teams were as follows: — New Zealand.— G. Gilbert; N. Mitchell, C. P. Oliver, G. F. Hart; T. H. C. Caughey, J. L. Griffiths; B. S. Sadler; A. Lambourh, W. Hadley, J. Hore, R. R. King, J. E. The New Zealanders were how giving one of the best exhibitions of the tour. E. Davies finally went over for a try from a scramble on the line. Ivor Jones converted. New Zealand 16, Llanelly 8 . INTERESTING FOOTBALL. The football' was not spectacular, but was most interesting owing to the great battle with the All Black forwards. The Llanelly backs were often caught in possession as a result of receiving passes flat-footed. Caughey almost scored a few minutes from time. He kicked over the line but the ball was dead before he dived on it. In the last minute Ivor Jones missed a penalty kick. There was occasional rough work among the forwards, and the tackling was very fierce. The referee once spoke ' to Lang and the crowd cheered and hooted.
