SUBURBS CLUB
The members; of the Suburbs Defence Rifle Club had a try-out at 600 yards at Trentham on Saturday afternoon.
A strong gusty cross-over wind blowing across the range called for quick windage alterations by the marksmen. Riflleman Ken Laurie, the youngest shot in the club, totalled 89 off the gun —a meritorious performance in such trying atmospheric conditions. The following are the scores:— 600 600 yds. yds. Tl.
