OLD NAVALS CLUB
The Old Navals Rifle Club fired the first shoot of their competitions at Trentham on Saturday at 500 yards under very fair conditions, a light changing wind requiring a lot of attention to keep on the "bull."- The top score of the day was made by J. Pitt with 96. He was very unlucky in dropping his last shot for 49 in the first shoot. W. Mcßain was next with 46, 49—95, starting with a four and finishing with nine "bulls" in his second shoot.
