CARS IN COLLISION
MAN SERIOUSLY HURT

INVERCARGILL, October 13.
James Alexander Lyon, bookseller and stationer, of InvercargiU, -"was admitted to the Southland Hospital yesterday afternoon suffering from head injuries received in a collision between two cars. He is, reported to be on the seriously injured list. ,=Hia wife, who was also in the car, was! no* seriously hurt. ' .--■■■ ,~ r-', : ~ '-.
Their car was struck' in the, rear on the Oteramiki Road by a car driven by Miss Doreen Mackay, who was receiving a driving lesson; Mr. and Mrs. Lyon were in the back seat and the car was being driven by their "son, who escaped injury. Miss Mackay was. only slightly injured. :
