WEEKEND ACCIDENTS
Severe injuries to her left foot and -hand-were received by Ma. Gee, of 2 Telford -Terrace, yesterday. evening, when, the motor-cycle on the pillion of which she was seated moved backwards and her foot was caught in the •wheel. She was taken to hospital by the Wellington Free Ambulance. ' As a, result 'of being knocked down by a motor-car-in front of Lambton Station, J. Bond, a City Council employee, of 66 Eotherham v Terrace, received slight, concussion and head injuries. . . ■■"•''. : - ,
Through falling off a roof, 15ft above the ground, into, the back yard' of 'his house, J. Rawlings, of 68 : Bbulcott Street, received injuries to his back. Injuries to his, left 'thigh were received by S. Crosland, a builder, of 196 The Parade, Island Bay, when, hisl motor-cycle collided' with another machine at Ghiro .Bay yesterday afternoon.: >' •
The Free Ambulance was summoned to attend all these cases. r
Caught by a fall of earth while working on a relief job at Hataitai this afternoon, D. C. Dodds, a labourer of 18 Hector Street, had his left leg' fractured. He was taken to hospital by the Wellington Free Ambulance.
N. Robertson, a storeman, of 40 Waripori Street, had his left leg fractured when his motor-cycle collided with a motor-car in Cambridge Terrace near Alpha Street this afternoon. He was. taken to • hospital by the Free Ambulance. - :
As the result of falling from a building in- Cuba Street this morning; P. Jones, a labourer, of 104 Constable Street, received an injury .to his back and concussion. He was taken from the premises of L. Evans and Co. by the Free Ambulance. .
