Mrs. Stace presided at the recent meeting of the District Nursing Guild of St. John. ■..■•■•

The following donations were acknowledged with thanks:—Wellington Hospital Board, £100; Mrs. W: H Pearson, £1 Is; Anon., 2s 6d; Miss ,E. Williams; and "Two Sisters,": 10s each.

Donations in kind were acknowledged from Mesdames Barltrop, Anderson, Weir, Anon., C. Smith, Zanair Brownlee, Mr. -Bettany, Busy Bee Club, Khandallah Sick Poor Guild, Chiltpn House Old Girls' Association Miss K. Wood, Wellington Suburban Nursing Division, Shadwick-Smith, and the jubilee committee of St. John. The nurses reported a very busy month, there being a number, of very heavy cases. Patients admitted numbered 43; discharged, 26; nurses' visits paid to homes, 407; patients'^ visits to the surgery, 167; and visits to ex-hos-pital patients, 202. •; , '
