Mr. W. A. McKenzie, of 6 Kiwi Street, Lower" Hutt, a mill-hand, had three fingers of his left hand severed and his right hand crushed yesterday afternoon, when he caught his hands in a wire rope while hauling logs at Lower Hutt. After receiving medical attention he was taken to the Public Hospital by the Wellington Free Ambulance,
