CAMPAIGN
. A very largely-attended and enthusiastic meeting of the general committee of Mrs. Knox Gilmer,- Independent candidate for Wellington, North, was held in the committee-room last night, Mr. L. McKenzie presiding; Reports from the chairmen of ■sub-committees throughout the electorate, were presented and considered extremely- satisfactory, disclosing that Mrs. Gilmer was receiving the wholehearted support of electors. . Various matters in connection with the campaign were iiscussed and adopted.
