RUGBY, October 5. In connection with the Duke of Gloucester's wedding on November 6, an-announcement from Buckingham Palace states that the King and Queen will give "an evening party on November 4 at Buckingham Palace and an afternoon party on Tuesday, November 15, at St. James's Palace.

It is expected that the parties will follow the lines of those which preceded the wedding of the Duke of Kent. Between 1500 and 2000 guests will probably be invited.
