CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
The Kurow Jockey Club's Annual Meeting will be held tomorrow, again after a lengthy absence on the home course. There was no meeting last year, and in the two preceding years the club raced at Oamaru. The fields are above the average in size, and they should provide some good sport, though the position is complicated by dual engagements. The single-pool system of betting will be in operation. , The following horses may be fancied:— Highweight Handicap.—Hunting Ba" and Worship. Trial Handicap.—Fiord and Money Waitahi- Trot—Sylvie's Best and Marie Potts. , '. T. A. Munro Handicap.—Violenta and Merry del Val. * > Kurow Cup.—Quietly and Quite Soon. . .
