DAMAGE TO STOCK

The Dominion executive of the New Zealand Farmers' Union passed a remit today requesting the Government to bring down legislation to amend the Dogs Registration Act, 1908, so as to provide a compulsory insurance scheme, by a levy on the registration of all dogs, to indemnify stock owners whose stock are injured or destroyed by dogs.
