DUNEDIN CONTESTS

(By Telegraph.)

(Special to the."Evening Post.")

DUNEDIN, This Day.

' Although: a few weeks ago Mrs. R. S. Black' (Dunedin North) and Mr. Alfred Clark (Dunedin Central) were announced as the Democratic candidates for these two seats, no announcement has yet been 'made regarding Dunedin West and Dunedin South. Both are very difficult seats for any new party to capture. The National Party itself will have a hard enough fight against Labour for the four Dunedin seats. The greatest interest is being taken .in the contest between the Hon. 'W. Downie Stewart and Dr. McMillan for Dunedin West.
