At Scarborough, the North England tennis championship finals resulted:
Men's doubles: F. H. D. Wilde and Butler defeated Lyttelton-Rogers and A. C. Stedman (New Zealand), 6-8, 6-3, 6-4, 7-5. •
Men's singles: Stedman defeated Lyttelton-Rogers, 6-2, 6-3. Rogers was most nervous and lacked '. his usual brisk style.
