SYDNEY, This Day.
The Brighton barrow-pusher, Coun- ■■ cillor William Darwin, and his passenger, Mr. Amiguet, have-arrived at Cootamundra. They are now halfway to Sydney from Melbourne, and if their present progress is maintained they will arrive two' weeks ahead of schedule. Councillor Darwin undertook to push Mr. Amiguet from; Brighton to Sydney, a distance of 600 miles, in ten weeks. The journey started on the afternoon of July 21.
