Miss Amy-E. Grave (Oamaru) is touring; in Devonshire and Cornwall, anditheii she will see the English Lake District and Scotland.. She finds that many-parts of the far Western. counties, remind her, of New Zealand. Miss Grave .has' recently spent ten months in Canada, and, with the exception of Lake Louise and'the Rockies she says she. did hot-see anything in the.way of scenery to compare with New Zealand. Miss Phyllis E. Waugh (Wellington) arrived in June from the United States, haying spent four months travelling: in that.country. . She has been visiting 'relatives in Rutland, and; after a very pleasant month in London, she will leave for. Scotland. Miss M. E. Mclndoe has been a member of Girton, College, Cambridge, •Since last .January, and is engaged on a post-graduate course in Zoology at the hew Cambridge School of Zoology. She expects to .be there for several years."-"During last vacation Miss Mclndoehad a ski-ing holiday in Austria,, and during the coming vacation She will go to Marburg to study German. Mrs. Mclndoe and one of her sons, Dr. K.G.: Mclndoe, are on an extended tour of Malaya, Sumatra, Java, etc., and they will probably visit New Zealand on their way back to England. Mrs. Mclndoe will be welcomed by many friends, many of whom will remember her as Miss Mabel Hill, the clever artist. v;
Mrs. A. M. A/.Gebble 'and Miss E: Gebbie (Christchurch), who were members of the farmers' party which toured/Great Britain and-the Continent, are now in Devonshire visiting relatives.
Dr. and Mrs. L. T. Parr (Lower Hutt) Will divide the winter months between Edinburgh and London. They are now enjoying the beauties of the English Lake country. After a few weeks in ChesterIwith friends they will tour in Wales.
