The Prime Minister (the Jit. Hon. G. W. Forbes) is "to leave Wellington this evening for Christchurch, and is due back on Wednesday.
The Minister, of Finance (the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates) left Wellington for the north yesterday.

Reference to the death of Mr. James Craigie was made at a meeting of the Wellington St. Andrew Burns Club this week, when a motion of sympathy with his relatives was passed. Mr. Craigie did notable work ■of many years in connection with the encouragement of Burns Clubs throughout New Zealand and as a lecturer on Burns. When he was Mayor of Timaru he presented the town with a statue of Burns which now. stands in the public park. :.
