' Analysis of the overseasr trade foS the first half of 1935 shows the growth' of the Empire's share of the total! trade. , i Imports from countries of the Bri-», tish Commonwealth represented 40 per}' cent, of the total imports in the first}! six months of this year, compared with! 38.8 per cent, in the '■ corresponding] period of 1934, while exports to British countries amounted to 46.5 per cent* of the total, as against 45.1 per centj! 82 per cent, of the re-exports went to! foreign countries, compared with 81.2 per cent, in the first half'of 1934.
