CANADA AND WAR GRAVE RESPONSIBILITY LONDON (Ontario), August 16. Criticising the Government for fixing the date of the election so late, the Liberal leader, Mr. Mackenzie King, declared that the Ethiopian crisis contained the seeds of a world war, and no, Government had any right to say what Canada would do witft respect to war .'arising, out* of that situation until there was a new Parliament and a new Government. "If the * grave responsibility ever fell on a Liberal Government of deciding on war in Europe, ; no decision would be made until Parliament assembled," said Mr. Mackenzie King.
