ANOTHER DISAPPOINTMENT
-Miss Dorothy Paget, owner of Golden Miller and who keeps a big team of expensive horses in training in England, has not been altogether fortunate with her high-priced 'yearling purchases. '.The Fairway—Oswyn filly, for whom she paid 9100 guineas last year, made her first appearance in the Woodcote Stakes at Epsom, but though a hot favourite she was beaten by the Felstead—Lady Abbess filly. At Ascot a fortnight later, the Oswyn filly, now named Osway. ran in the Queen Mary Stakes, but she missed a place, after again starting a warm favourite.
