(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, August 12. The Mataki dredge return for the week ended August 11 was 36 ounces for five days' work.
GORE, August 12. Waimumu Sluicing reports a return of 40ozldwt for three weeks' work and a total of 760z 17dwt for an 8000 cubic yards paddock. The first wash-up at Waipapa Beach is expected next Friday.
The Mossy Creek dredge return was 70oz ldwt from 11,385 yards dredged in 1.37 hours.
Gillespie's Beach Gold Dredging Company, Ltd.. has reported to the New Zealand Stock Exchange Association a return of 350z 9dwt for 139 hours' work last week. ; Gillespie's Beach Gold Dredging Company, Ltd., has also advised the Stock Exchange Association that the directors, on Saturday declared a dividend of 5 per cent, on the shares registered at August 31.
