Chow Ho Sing, a Chinese Communist, told the Third International that the Chinese Reds had an army of half a million, with modern equipment, and that a further million irregular troops were ready to lead the fight against Japanese Imperialists and other foreign raiders.

He claimed that Chinese Soviets ruled 56,000.000 people, and (partly dominated 55,000,000 others.
