SKATEWAYS.

Special attractions are advertised for this evening at Skateways, Vivian Street, Wellington's modern and attractive skating rink, now conducted on up-to-date, model lines. In addition to the selected skating programme, special numbers will be given by the Manhattan Orchestra. A spectacular attraction this evening will be a novel exhibition of toe skating with original electrical effects, which is being presented by Miss Mavis Scott and Mr. Robbie Smith. Patrons wishing to reserve skates are advised to telephone 53-242. The rink is open daily from 10 a.m., and a staff of skilled attendants is in attendance at all sessions. A special lunch-hour session between 12 and 2 p.m. has been arranged. The afternoon sessions commence at 2.30, while one of the most popular of the sessions is the private learners' class between 6 and 7 p.m. daily. The rink is open each evening from 7.30 o clock, and the session tonight -will extend to 11 P-m.
