PRICE OF BUTTER IN AUSTRALIA.

The Commonwealth Dairy Produce Equalisation Committee has fixed the interim equalisation price of butter produce in Australia during June at 128s lOd per cwt, against 118s 6d in the previous month. Owing to smaller production the major portion of supplies last month was sold in the ■ Australian markets at. 140s per cwt, which accounts for the increase in the equalisation figure. During June Australian butter sold in London at 80s to 87s per cwt.
