OUTRAGES IN IRELAND

CHURCH DESTROYED

ACTS OF RETALIATION

(Received July 23, 3 p.m.)

LONDON, July 22,

A crowd of rioters ignited and destroyed the Anglican Church at Kilmallock, Limerick, and smashed the windows of the rectory, which the police are now guarding.

The outrage is believed to be an act of retaliation for the anti-Catholic demonstrations in Belfast.

Rioters broke valuable stained-glass windows of the Anglican Church at Trim, County Meath.
