TAKEN UP BY LONDONER
ROME, July 12. Captain Fanelli, who recently' challenged Major C. R. Attlee, Deputy Leader of the British Labour Party, to a duel, has received from Mr. Edward Dickinson, of London, a challenge to a duel with Mr. Dickinson, who wishes to take Major Attlee's place.
In a letter to Captain Fanelli Mr. Dickinson gays: "As a duel is evidently your idea of satisfaction, I trust you will allow an Englishman jealous of his country's history and traditions to take up the challenge. I trust you will speedily reply, enabling suitable arrangements to be made." Captain Fanelli is at present out of Rome. His friends say he is unlikely to accept, as his quarrel is with Major Attlee. ■ , ■ •
