Two more giant aeroplanes of the same type as the "Maxim Gorky," which crashed recently, are to be constructed, in addition to the three which the Soviet Government has already decided to build. The number "of applications received in Britain for patents during 1934 was 37.409, compared with 36,734 in 1933. The number of applications made by women was 387, compared with 507 in the previous year.
