(By Telegraph—Press Asen.—Copyright.) MELBOURNE, July 9. Wool sold in Australia in the "wool year" ended June 30 totalled 2,992,267 bales, and realised £37,927,407. The quantity represented an increase of 468,591 bales, compared with the previous season, but the income represented a reduction of £13,171,308. Greasy merino averaged 9.75 d per lb in the past season, compared with 15.84 din 1933-34. The returns for eleven months ended May 31 for the past two seasons were as follows: — 1933-34. 1934-35.
