OIL WELLS IN ENGLAND.
Oil wells are being opened in Southern England. Drilling machines used are of the most modern type. Examples will shortly be seen at Worth, Sussex, one of the most promising of the1 British oil locations. The geological formation there is similar to that in Hanover, from' which Germany has obtained much of her oil supplies. That oil exists below Sussex has been advertised for many years by the presence of natural gas, which once provided the public lightir.g for the town of Heathfield.
