EMERGENCY PROVISIONS ; EXTENSION OF SUBSIDY(British Official • Wjreless.) ■ V (Received July 8,1 p.m.) RUGBY, July 6. A memorandum published yesterday explains that a financial resolution-in connection with cattle industry emergency provisions will provide for their extension in the first instance to the end of June, 1936. It is estimated that the sum which Parliament will be asked to provide under these provisions for a period from October, 1935, to June. 1936, will not exceed £3,000,000.

If circumstances should arise which would make it necessary for Parliament to be asked to approve such extension, the further liability on the public funds is not expected to exceed £1,333,000. It is intended that these advances, together with those already made, shall be recoverable in full from the proceeds of any levy which may hereafter be collected on imported meat and livestock.
