Owing to the adverse weather conditions, several of the games in the match between Whakatiki and Mornington were unfinished, and the match had to be abandoned. In the fourball best-ball bogey competition, Estall and Smith and O. G. Hearne and A. Charles tied with cards of 1 down, next being F. Andrews and A. E. Watkins, 2 down. In the afternoon, despite the rain, nine stalwarts braved the elements in . a nine-hole, stroke, L. Carr, Whakatiki, being the winner with 46, 11—35, next. being T. O'Kelly, Mornington, 44, 6—38.
