OLD BOYS V. MELROSESELWYN

It took the promoted Wellington College Old Boys all, their time to run out winners against Mel-rose-Selwyn at Kilbirnie. The play in parts was bright and speedy, with both sides striving hard to gain a position of security. Old Boys did all their scoring in the first spell—tries by Andrews and Binning, both converted by Aimes. In that half Stevenson "potted." a goal for Melr,ose-6elwyn and in the second spell the same player kicked a penalty goal, making the final score 10-7 in Old Boys' favour.

WELLINGTON V. BERHAMPORE

In a well-contested game, Berhampore held Wellington well in tha first spell but had their work cut out in the second session when the Wellington side showed more of its paces. Wellington won by 12 points to 3. The winners' score was made up of tries by ShirtclifEe, Pedrotti, and Greene and a penalty goal by Newman. For Berhampore, who did well to keep this fine Wellington team down to three tries, Miller scored a try (unconverted).
