TOO MANY DIVORCES
LONDON, July 4.
The "Daily Telegraph's" correspondent says that the "Isvestia," drawing attention to the frequency .of divorce, which is causing anxiety to the Soviet authorities, declares: —
"It is high time to declare that frivolity in family affairs isx a crime and unfaithfulness an offence against the morality of the Socialist regime."
It is expected that steps will be taken shortly to restrict liberty in this respect.' The Soviet Code provides that. divorce is obtainable cither by mutual consent or on the application of husband or wife subject to the approval of the Court. The decree does not become absolute until after the time for appeal has expired.
