VENIZELOS IN PARIS

ESCORT OF DETECTIVES

("Times" Cable.) LONDON, July 5. The Pai^s correspondent of "The Times" says that police are heavily guarding M. -Venizelos, the former Greek Premier, who is accompanied by detectives wherever he goes. Only persons whose names are included on an approved list of visitors are allowed to enter the house where he lives.

Special care is being taken to prevent Greek exiles who were involved in the recent insurrection getting near him. A Greek journalist who took up quarters at a hotel in the same street has been ordered to live elsewhere.
