PRICE DECLINE AS RESULT

WINNIPEG, July 5.

Fears expressed in Chicago that Canadalwould abandon her efforts to maintain wheat prices at current levels has sent futures down to their pegs on the Winnipeg grain exchange, values closing at 80 cents, i cent to 1-J cents lower than in July and August.

Chicago had a 5-cent decline, the traders ignoring the statement by the Prime Minister, Mr. R. B. Bennett, that there would be no sacrificing of the Dominion's grain in the international markets.
