STOP OUT AND WANDERERS

The surprise in the first B division last Saturday was the handsome win by Stop Out over Scottish .Wanderers. Now that they have struck form, Stop Out should pay a little more attention to their training activities, for undoubtedly they are capable of producing good football. Scottish Wanderers during the, first spell played really well, but for some unaccountable reason faded out in the middle stages of the second. This is not their 'true form, and an early improvemet should eventuate. Stop Out's forwards are to be congratulated on their display. Combination and plenty of vim, especially in the second spell, were outstanding features, • ' , ' R. Liddicoat was outstanding. His three goals during the'afternoon point to the fact that he did not waste opportunities* • Lark and Mclvor were conspicuous on the left wing. Both these players scored goals., W. Moore and M. Liddicoat played useful games. ' In Boe, Sandholm,- and Nicholson Stop Out possess a good half-back

line. The stalwart Sandholm is a toiler from the word go. Nicholson, a very young player, is improving with every game. Boe played nice football. His goal was a clever piece of work. . ■

Stop Out's last line of defence— Morris, the goalkeeper, O'Donnell and J. Moore, the full-backs—collaborated 'splendidly with their team mates. O'Donnell's work was impressive. ,'■

Scottish Wanderers' half-back -line were conspicuous in the first spell for good work,, but could not hold Stop Out's vanguard in the second term. This applies also to the full-backs. .

Gray and Jordan played really well in Scottish Wanderers' forward line. The last-named scored two nice goals. Jupp pleased with several dashes in conjunction with McNaughton. McKean did good work. '
