(By Telegraph—Press Association.) I INVERCARGILL, July 5. The return at the King Solomon Mine this week was 80oz 12dwt. TALISMAN DUBBO. Talisman Dubbtf reports for period ended 'June 29:—Dubbo level: The drive north advanced! 28ft, total 688 ft. From 653 ft to 669 ft the average value is very good; average width, 19in. Stoping: The average assay value of the ore, broken in the stopes from 140 ft north to 400 ft north was very good, and the average width of the lode 21in. Talisman No. 1 level—Stoping: In the stopes from 420 ft to 516 ft south the lode is irregular in width, varying from 6in to 6ft, and contains a large proportion of quartz rubble, clay,'and silica. The ore saved and sent for treatment averaged good for average, width of 34in. Talisman No. 2 level: The drive south was turned to the west and exposed the old Talisman No. 2 level which had collapsed. After driving 15ft it was found the lode had been stoped out. As the drive would require extensive timbering if continued through the old stope, it was decided to come back and continue the drive along the country of the oast wall. This face is now 210 ft south, in country not requiring timbers.
