SHIP'S BOAT FOUND
The harbourmaster at Te Kopuru, Kaipara, has reported to the Marine Department that a lifeboat from the Australian trawler Alfle Cam has been washed ashore on the West Coast opposite Tikinui. At the beginning of last May, on arrival at Westport, the master of the Alfie Cam, Captain Double, reported that the ship's boat had been washed overboard during heavy weather on that trip from Sydney.
