. A. boy of twelve walked into a Eoni don hospital with a, tooth 'growing from apiece of his own rib grafted into his jaw.: He first attended jthq hospital complaining of a pain-in 'the jaw. Diagnosis: Part of the bone waS diseased. The diseased part was 'removed, it is reported, and a piece,; of rib grafted into its place. Six months' later the boy returned to hospital— with the tooth, perfectly formed, growing entirely from the rib graft.
