At a recent meeting of the Wellington Accountant Students' Society Mr. J. H. McKay, Assistant . Registrar of Companies, delivered' a very interesting address on the subject of Forms Required to be Lodged with the Registrar of Companies." ■ . Mr. McKay dealt with the subject from the formation of a company to the time when a company is struck off the register, and in view of the somewhat stringent requirements of the Companies Act, 1933, the lecture proved of great interest not only to students but also to older members of the profession. In the course of his lecture the speaker referred to and explained numerous.new provisions which had been embodied in the Companies Act, 1933, and pointed out that his Department would always be very pleased to assist accountants to interpret any clauses embodied in the new legislation which come within its jurisdiction.
