COMMITTED FOR TRIAL
Patrick Thomas Syroiv driver of a car which .struck- Norman Alexander Anderson at the corner of Willis and Willeston Streets at about' 10.40 p.m. on May 6, Anderson sustaining, injuries from which he died in hospital on the following day, pleaded; not, guilty, to a charge of .reckless, driving, .and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial by Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. The accused was allowed bail on his own recog? nisance of £100, and one surety .of. £100, and was ordered to report daily to the police. A charge of failing to stop after an accident, ..to which Syron pleaded not guilty, was adjourned until the ma.ior charge has 'been disposed oi.
